ABOUT THE PROGRAM 
Millennials and our Young Future Leaders are best prepared for and be equipped with continual learning on innovation, internationalisation & technology in the current fast-changing environment.

The Shanghai Spring Immersion Program© creates opportunities and the ingenious learning environment for our participants as such, not just for academic learning but to have the opportunity and exposure to Shanghai-China, a cosmopolitan city and most populous city proper in the world.  Participants are to gain insight and experience from this uniquely crafted immersion program.  Our objective is to empower our participants to learn from our expert facilitators, and to embark (both indoors and outdoors) on the cultural, strategic business knowledge and digital innovation of Shanghai-China. The program stimulates our participants to adapt and remain resilient in the fast-changing environment. It further embolden our participants to network and interact with our Young Leaders and Entrepreneurs from Singapore and China.  It supports participants to integrate the knowledge learned in this program as a valuable leader in the competitive, global business world.

WHO SHOULD APPLY
High School/Poly-students, Undergraduates, Graduates, Young Working Adults, Entrepreneurs, Professionals, Executives at any level who wants to explore on innovation, internationalisation, technology, cultural, strategic business knowledge, networking and leadership value.

People who are culturally, intellectually and digitally curious and have a desire to expand their horizon globally are encourage to attend.  We welcome participation from around the world regardless of race, gender or religion.  Application to the program starts on the first day of every quarter, ie. Jan, March, June, Sept and December and closes within one month from its commencement. Early application to the program is encouraged.

KEY SPEAKER

Dr. Yap Kwong Weng serves as a Senior Advisor to AceChamps in its educational, cultural and leadership Personal Development Programs. Dr. Yap is an author, non-profit activist and founder/entrepreneur of LEAP South-East Asia based in Myanmar.  He was trained as US Navy SEAL and was named a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum.  A Toa Payoh boy who lived in the heartlands for over 25 years, he was a late bloomer who hated books when he was young, and never believed education could change his life.  After a serious car accident that almost cost his life, Dr. Yap took a leap of faith and never looked back since.  Among several degrees including a PhD, Dr. Yap earned a Master of Public Administration from the National University of Singapore’s (NUS) Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy.  He is the Regional Advisor, Indochina of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy.   He continues to pursue bigger dreams fully knowing that success comes with sacrifice.  Dr. Yap Kwong Weng is a Principal Advisor with KPMG in Singapore. He develops the firm’s strategy in Singapore and focuses on transformation and growth strategy, including regional M&A projects.
