GLOBAL DIGNITY CAMBODIA

The mission of Global Dignity is to implement globally the universal right of every human being to lead a dignified life. This is a paradigm shift in thinking about our global challenges, a new language, and a mindset to approach issues of poverty, peace, and progress. https://globaldignity.org

The co-founders of the Dignity Project are Crown Prince Haakon of Norway, John Bryant from Operation HOPE, and Professor Pekka Himanen, University of Art & Design Helsinki and Visiting Professor at Oxford University.

AceChamps’ co-founder, chief-trainer and senior advisor, Dr Yap Kwong Weng who is the Chair of Global Dignity Cambodia, a chapter of the larger non-profit that advocates for the principles of dignity. Since 2013, Dr Yap has been organizing dignity events for Cambodian children through story-telling and providing a platform for them to share their stories; making dignity more relevant to everyday lives and shaping the understanding towards becoming a better human being. https://globaldignity.org/cambodia/

Our objective is to strengthen and support the growing community of volunteer leaders who contribute their time and efforts to engage more young people in these powerful values and moving these values into action, making a difference in their communities and to lead a life that is based on the values and principles of dignity.

The beneficiaries of Global Dignity Cambodia include orphans, children from low income family background, persons with special needs and recipients from non-profit organisations.
